I don't doubt he seemed genuine TD, you and the other fans in attendance had good things to say about the meeting. Just saying we need to judge them on what they do from NOW , and give them the chance to right the wrongs. But it is up to club Doncaster to prove it means what it says.

Well it had better be a quality signing.

Because our last good signing was some time back.



Money aside the role models to me are Leigh and Sheffield.

The ethos is skill, speed and power.

Any old Joe slow Soap can get into our side, but the above two won't entertain them.

We need to wake up ... no more Sheffield and Fev cast-offs should be tolerated.

Our recruitment strategy is hopeless.

I can assure you that at the meeting GT did assure us that fitness was his priority , that's what won York the title last season , he did say that our club was lacking in the fitness dept and he was dealing with the best he could in the short training sessions that was available

He can't be very happy with pedigree he has inherited.

Surely the clubs management must have know some time ago that the players were lacking in fitness but they didn't do anything about it rank bad management.

Didn't Carl say we are making some great signings and watch this space at the end of last season, I think with the departures of the players named in the last few weeks the spaces in the stands will get larger

Just a point of interest a friend of mine from Workington informs me that sammut is to leave at the end of season , and he has found another club for next season , make of this what you will

just as we said at the time then. Used him to keep them up which he probably has done after sun result.

Which is what we should have done.

We will lose more money next season than he would have cost to play this.

Both kain and sammutt could of been the extra bit of quality needed but instead of kicking on and being ambitious we penny pinched, and although it will hurt me personally to watch my side in the bottom division next year its totally deserved, it was criminal we didnt go in for sammutt who was based locally with wakefield instead we watched him go to london then workington, the guy is super league quality and in my view would of jumped at the chance of coming here and putting himself in the shop window. The bottom line is we don't operate like clubs in and around us thats why we will always have 1 decent season surrounded by 10 bad ones

Not going for Sammut in no way is criminal, robbery is criminal, as is murder. Not going for Sammut is a management choice, and something which the club don't have to explain to anyone. .

The Dons did go for Sammutt but despite numerous attempts by Carl Hall to contact his agent,he didn't get back to him.
