Well I travelled over today. Not a good performance , not helped by an early head injury to Jordie Hedges . Rangi went off injured . We missed Matty Beharrell today.



We will do well to finish 5th.

Thought Frankie Mariano did well, show glimpses of his last season form ,cannot think of anything else positive .

I want the best for the Dons...

Keighley were leading Whitehaven at half-time but Haven were too strong in the end. We need to post a good score against Keighley to try to build some confidence for the bigger challenges to come against Workington and A N Other....

Only just noticed this, as I said on page 1, I wasn't going as otherwise engaged. I left it alone, didn't think it was a big enough start missing our playmaker and coming off a pretty average effort the week before.

Good thinking.

On yesterdays performance we are miles away from promotion.

Our attack was non-existent, our halves looked clueless , and our forwards were dominated in every aspect of the game.



Its the same old same old, ...….....go a couple of scores behind , and spectacularly capitulate.



Why was Brandon Douglas not in the side after last weeks performance , Was he injured in the warm up?

We need to hold on to him for next season as he is by far and away our best go forward player.



Heard some interesting gossip from one of our fans who shall remain nameless ,that a large number of the squad will be moving to pastures new next year with Beharrell and Bower bound for Batley , Kez off to Keighley, Connor Scott to Hunslet and Jordie retuning to Oz.

I don't know where his information comes from but he was adamant it was fact.



I'm sure CH and RH have spoken to the players we wish to keep, but if the information is true ,I would be gutted to lose Matty as he has come in and given us the much needed direction we have been severally lacking.

Jodie has really stepped up to the plate this season and would also be a big lose as he has so much versatility.



The Kyle rumour I take with a pinch of salt, why would Keighley appeal more than the Keepmoat unless the rewards are far greater ( which given Keighley's issues over the last few years hardly seems right) Time will tell.

I'm pretty sure I know who you are referring to and interestingly, if I'm correct, he is the only player with a contract beyond the end of the current season.
