Quote Jemmo="Jemmo"According to one of the North Wales forums, it's a disgrace that a former player of ours was allowed to referee the game, and it explains why the officials gifted us 25 points
'"
Some absolute crackers on the Crusaders Facebook page the other night..
Quote JemmoThe ref and touch judge gifted them 19 points with the awful decisions made'"
Quote JemmoBit unsportsmanlike from Doncaster to deny us the Bonus Point there. They didn't need the extra one, let's be honest'"
Quote Jemmoattendance 705...bit poor but it is magic weekend
( Today's game had the worst display of touch judging I have ever, and I mean ever seen in my life....plus points were the lads never gave up, even in the face of the officials giving Doncaster pretty much everytyhing...'"
Quote JemmoThe touch line offical on crowd side after half has to be on Doncasters pay roll or he very new to the game'"
Quote JemmoWell done to the cru. A impressive gutsy performance. Shame about the poor decision making by the linesman. Not sure what he was looking at. Cru out classed Doncaster and in my eyes and won that game. Hope someone complains about the linesman. How many forward passes were ignored and players offside.'"
Quote Jemmowe lost 12 points through our own poor defence yesterday but its the 13 points we had robbed by the officals that really hurts two trys from forward passes and the drop goal came froma play they punched ou but the TJ gave it to them '"
Quote JemmoCru deserved a win today they played their hearts out, the only point i would make is the players complained instead of defending and this allowed a try by doncaster you still play boys or this will happen time and time again all be it the ref got it wrong. I have heard the Ref was a ex player of Doncaster if this is true its not very fair on Crusaders. But well played Cru you should be very proud of how you played today and in that heat too'"
Hmm...
In my opinion, NWC put up a pretty solid performance, but we turned up the pace a little in the second half. We appeared to be a bit leggy in the first half, now I'm not sure whether that is as a result of the Workington match, or whether the trip across had an effect.
There were some strange decisions going both ways, but to be honest, the decision in the build up to Kellys try was the one that annoyed the Crusaders the most. From the view that the majority of the fans had (and the touchjudge on that side as well) it would appear that Tom Hodson knocked on, but I feel that the ball was knocked into him initially by the Crusaders player jumping for the ball, and as a result, the ball hit Tom (even though he was jumping for the ball), and then landed in goal.
As for the claim we knocked on in the build up to the drop goal, I never saw it...
