All the indications are that McDonnell has signed and is awaiting a Visa. However, i heard a whisper over the weekend that Rovers have made a move for Corey Paterson. I guess that would mean that one of our rumoured Aussie signings isnt coming, unless we have finally managed to shift Joel Clinton.

Good player but I'd stay well clear.

To be honest i had never heard of him until i was given his name at weekend and googled him. He is in a 2 year deal at the Cowboys so there is probably nothing in it.

He's also 'friends' with Khoder Nasser, was rumoured that's why Bennett got rid.

Corey is a great player and a very nice guy, but he comes with a lot of 'issues'.



He sat out a good part of a season at the Knights with clinical depression and had a lot of trouble controlling his weight afterwards due to medication side effects.

Since then he has converted to Islam, got married and stopped drinking, which i think allows him to control his depression without drugs, or maybe with minimal drugs.



There's no one in a better position to know if he has some good footy in him than Sandercock. He is a rep standard forward for peanuts if his head is right.
