Unlikely as friendlys very rarely are unless its a derby

It was mentioned on Sports Talk on Friday that the only friendly of either Rovers or Hull that RH would be covering live would be the derby.

Since I live nearby and Barrow was a long way to go to watch the Cougars in our own friendly, I nipped along to watch Thunder v Hull KR. Not a bad afternoon's entertainment, spoilt somewhat by the 'banter' between the small band of Hull KR singers and the equally small band of Cas fans who somewhat inexplicably turned up. Maggie Thatcher, Wakefield, fishing, coal-houses. Honestly, lads, seriously unfunny and cringeworthy at times. I didn't appreciate having to explain away the sweary bits to my 8-year-old lad. And as for the song about someone being a tampon... not good.

Could you put up a song sheet? I'm intrigued.

Having read Mild Rover's post about swearing not being allowed on this forum, I'm afraid I can't.

With respect, I was there - with my 8-year-old lad. And it really wasn't in the realms of witty banter. I'm not sure whether your post means that Cougars supporters do nowt but complain about swearing or do nowt but swear. You must be going back some time - it's ages since we played either side from the East Riding.

The lads this aft no doubt thought they were hilarious whereas, in reality, they were a pain in the backside.

And you had no option to move to another part of the ground? FWIW I am very familiar with Cougar fans and yes they are a moaning bunch.
