Might be a nice idea to throw an open challenge (get a sponsor for a cash prize) to local artists to come up with a painting/muriel with our past greats on it to grace the entrance.

i,m sure the cost would run into thousands possibly not worth it when one of the selling points you suggest is for German and Dutch pensioners to get a sighting from about 600 metres.

There is no selling point for the proposal - more to decorate the exterior of RM stand from the current bland/dated looking one. It's also a follow up to the suggestion that our proposed red towers should have some sort of club branding in the form of previous players (as in Roger). I was pointing out what Arsenal had done and the back of the RM stand may be a better option than that of a tower. The fact you could perhaps see this from the flyover would be a benefit of the proposed scheme. I've no idea what the outlay would be and doubt very much it would go ahead in any event. But it would look good tho' - in this writer's opinion.

I wouldn't think it would cost much in relation to the £8M+ already being spent, the designs did show that the RM Stand wasn't grey anymore and it seemed to have some windows in it? Why have a banging new stand only for it to be let down by the one adjoining it.

some years ago at a firm i worked for got a lad that worked for them to paint a picture on a large wall for them they gave him the paint and a picture of the picture they wanted and he did it it was brill so why don't rovers ask the supporters if they or anyone they know could do it for them for maybe a season ticket you never know someone might have the skill and they can do it if it stops raining
