Played probably more games @ centre but has looked like a second row playing @ centre (if you know what I mean).
He's grown into the role and done a solid job whether covering @ centre or playing in the back row. Not spectacular but solid and all things considered, as I said - he's done a good job for us. |

I would wager that we have more than 5 or 6 players coming in. We already know that we have Paterson, Tuimivarve (sp), Blake, Gleeson and Caro coming in, so thats 5. When you take into account the amount of players that we have leaving then even taking into account the youngsters that are coming through we must have more coming in.

Agree that Horne has done ok for us. Plenty of effort that some seem to think we are lacking.
Mika is still relatively young...isn't this his first full first grade season?
It's a fact we've had a number of injuries and some of the deadwood as described are squad players / back-up that look much more exposed when a few of them are required in the same games.
I feel some of us are influenced too much by what FC fans have to say about our club. If we'd got a couple more wins including one we nearly won yesterday everything seems a bit more rosey. Sandy is right, they scored 12 points directly from refereeing errors and we had two players taken off due to very dubious challenges whilst scoring. You can't just ignore them facts.
Latus I have to agree is not up to it. He has the turning curve of a bus.
I have optimism for next season. We are losing the real deadwood in Webster and Clinton (Watts already gone) and I am pleased with our signings to date and the fact we are cutting our cloth accordingly unlike some I could mention.
