best player of recent times imo. can see why we didn't offer him a better deal, hope he wont come back to bite us on the arris. quality player, no hard feelings from me, just hope he doesnt play against us

Similar thing happened to me a few years ago, Cookie signed my young 'uns cap then 2 days later it was announced he had signed for KR.

You should hang on to that cap Bet, very rare items at the KC are things with Cookies signature on them.

Ben was my favorite player in the super league era but im afraid you dont go there! I never boo anyone because its a little inane but he may get a few wise cracks from me. As for Sharron Mc Donut that boy will get ruined.

Because he showed no commitment wotsoever to Rovers,not a team player in my humble opinion.

Near the end Ben also let himself down in this department,he scored a great try near the end of the season at home and the chants of sign him up were ridiculous!When he realised he wasnt getting a deal he stopped doing the orrible stuff like bringing it out of your own 20 and tackling, basically .anking it off.



Thats just my opinion.

Ben Galea may not be the player he was a couple of years ago but i would never question his integrity.

I think he can hold his head high. He was a good servant of the club and got the job done. I can only wish him luck for the future. All players move on - playing rugby is their job. And in any industry people move on for various reasons without question. Why should this industry be any different?!?!?!
