Yep hudgell says the club are not prepared to continue to pay ridiculous wages for players that haven't delivered and I think that's really sensible if the gates improved then so will the quality of players, we won't next season have a team full of superstars we need to continue to improve our youngsters, I back hudge 110 per cent on his comments and what the club are planning afterall we dont want to be another bulls.

he's bang on with his comments, why should he and the rest of the board plough their hard earned cash in when the rfl are intent on keeping a dead bradford side going, bank rolling london for the good of the game and flogging a dead horse to death with crusaders.

Most of what Hudge said was spot on, he's right about the RFL never sticking to their own rules, thus incentivising clubs to run up losses, go bust and start again with a clean slate. He's also right that Sandercock hasn't got his own team in place yet, however this is a conveinient excuse. The pressure will be on him next season when the coach no longer has that card to play. Hudge also said we had (in effect) been operating on a 1.2M cap this year with 4 of out top 5 earners spending long spells on the sidelines (I assume he's talking about Galea, Clinton, Webster and Green). He's pee-ed off with agents (I assume Howes), and the effect this had on de-stabliising the dressing room (Watts's influence one suspects).

I was meaning run out of the financial ability to operate at the current level, but since Hudgell himself has said Rovers are "skint", maybe that's good enough. Did he not say you need to accept you won't hit a 10k average? In which case, if this is the quoted break even point for a full SC spend, when do you get "on your feet?"



Interesting special resolution filed by Rovers directors with Companies House last week, RES13. Basically setting up a new class of shares and authority to allot them, adopting new articles of association and dis-applying pre-emption rights. Housekeeping maybe. Or changes afoot?

I wouldn't even bother responding to them, Rovers have outperformed the self proclaimed 'bigger club' for the past 5 seasons and this was bound to happen when they eventually had a better season, let them bask in their moment in the sun and take it on the chin that they are the better side at the moment.
