| Quote phil webbo="phil webbo"Its another mis-leading tag from the Mail.

The team is to be picked by Andrew Webster.'"
Exactly , it is all just supposition.

| Is that the same Phil Hasty that played for us ?
Be interesting to see how he fairs if it is, especially with all the ones who reckoned we should have kept him.

| Having seen Phil Hasty play for East Hull a few times on my rounds watching amateur rugby I have to say on his day he looks a class apart at that level.
But there are a number of other players who can play to his level too.
Good enough for SL ?? Not a chance. Although he'd probably do a decent job at NL2 or even NL1 at a push.

| Have to agree with the comments about Danville from Skirlaugh.
Looks to be on top form this season and has returned from his time with York a better player.

| Lee Roberts has to be considered for Prop consistantly solid every week for East Hull.

| Brett Turner should be in and around the 7 shirt he was quality and thought he was a bit unlucky to get released by Hull IMO, seems to be doing well at West Hull this season aswell

| the only problem with a game like this is the amount of time training together the amatuer lads would get together.

| I would imagine they will only be facing the academy/u20 side with perhaps a few fringe first teamers, Hodgson, Cook etc.
Wont be a hammering thats for sure.

| Fitness wise the amateur lads will be half way through their season and Rovers will be a few weeks into ther pre season preparation.
