Went to the kit launch last night.



Both designs looked good. Didn't get a close view due to the fact that it was raining and the cafe bar on the corner was selling pints at £2

Anyone who pays attention will know that I'm not one for none traditional designs BUT that is far from the worst HKR shirt I have seen.

For a start it doesn't look like it has a white miss world sash thrown over 1 shoulder.

Went to the launch, decide against waiting in the freezing rain so went to Debenhams and came back later on. Bought a shirt for one of the grandkids, but they never had the toddler kits in. Decided against the shirt for me, I never buy one that is not traditional (red band across chest) and bought a padded coat instead.

Two very very smart kits for me.

I think they will sell extremely well.

Not for me I am sorry to say I am like a few others a fan of tradition, I will spend my money on a plain red club polo shirt & baseball cap that I can wear any place. I understand the need to build income but I would welcome any club who would stick with their traditional strip & find a more inovative ways of making money.

As an alternative I liked the sash. A better solution to the Sportingbet problem than the 2010 white band, IMO - in execution at least.

I may do a poll of SL home shirts 2007-2012 later.



This year's isn't [ibad[/i, I just think the fewer words you can summarise a design in the better. Looks well enough put together at least.
