Ditto the above 2 posts. Definitely Greatfield until late 80's don't know when it became Isaac Newton probably 1989.

Went there 1969 to 72 there was 3 schools all together. Issac Newton. Elizabethan and Shakespeare which combined to make greatfield high school. Great schools and great times

Isaac Newton and Elizabethan hall were the senior schools one girls one boys Shakespeare wasn't anything to do with them it was the junior school when Greatfield was the senior I went to both

Yeah and I left with 8 GCSEs

you might be right about Shakespeare Frankie, but from 69 to 72 it was mixed classes for sure, I can remember the loverly looking girls lol,

I even remember the teachers ,mr gosling,mr taylor, mr bulmer, mr Dalton, etc etc, absol great days

Yeah I was on about when it first opened Greatfield was in the middle with junior schools ashwell and Shakespeare on either side

Right . in its day a great school loved my time there

When I was there we got a bye right through to the cup final after a game against david lister ended up with about 200 kids fighting nobody would play us except bransholme who beat us in the cup final
