If Rovers were offered a decent sum knowing that an NRL quality halfback was also available then they'd be daft to turn it down. Plus this gives Blake chance to test himself at a higher level with a club that has a realistic chance of winning silverware.

Well I understood that Dobson was Non-Fed. If he isn't why not? (c'mon then give me the 'very dull explanation')

They re-interpreted the pre-2008 exemption to include players that had been here [iand left[/i prior to 2008.



This meant that Aaron Heremaia (sp?) never counted and Dobson came off. This allowed us to sign 3 non-feds (Paea, Mika and McDonnell) to go with Green and Clinton, rather than just 2. Did warn you.

Considering we still rely way too much on him, that not be a bad thing in the long run (but possibly suicide in the short term).

Much as I wouldn't want to see Dobbo go, I don't see it as that big a disruption, provided we get a quality replacement for him.

It's not going to be until the start of next seaon at the earliest, so any new half back pairing would have a full pre-season to gel, if this is a problem, at least it's one a fair few other clubs in super league will find themselves with.
