Our recent performances against the teams around us have been disappointing to say the least.

Can't believe we served up that performance when it really mattered? Although it did feel like the Hudds game and beaten by just simple rugby. No go forward no desire in defence and just stupid dumb rugby. At 10-14 we had them rocking but then proceed to drop ball on own 10 first set in 2nd half and ship a try. They will have been fragile after a run of defeats and we put zero pressure on them. Really in the poop now.

Week to week it is a rollercoaster. The golden point victory against Cas a couple of weeks ago felt momentous at the time.



Year on year, the club has lacked direction and the teams have lacked much of an identity.



Whatever happens, a proper reboot is needed. Ideally, Smith will get a chance in SL but that is hanging by a thread now.



You make a fair point about money and as long as we have to prioritise depth over quality or quality over depth, we’ll lose more than we’d like. That said, other clubs live hand to mouth and it at least seems to give them a focus that we’ve lacked for a long time now.
