Fingers crossed Paea, Paterson and Horne pass late fitness tests on Saturday, Rovers are going to need all of their big guns to make it 4 out of 4.



On a positive note, Dobbo and Gleeson are expected to start.



To coin a term used by one of the Saints fans (on their board) I will be surprised if they FIST Rovers.

I would put Hall at 6 and give the young FB a go, we will create more this way. If we don't create good scoring options we will go out heavily, I expect saints to score a few, so we need to as well. It ain't gonna be a low score game.

What ever the team is lets go out and do them it will make a change for saints to go out at the first round we did them first round in the c/cup lets do it again

With CS mentioning Horne being due to return there's no chance he'll drop Cox or Lovegrove so there's no chance Paterson will play I don't think.



As far as Paea goes it would be great if he could play but CS may think that he's got no match fitness and it's a chance to give young Green a taste of play-off football and even though he's still experience he's got a hell of a lot of go-forward in him.



Withers played very well on the right the other whilst we where on the front foot with ET and Netherton and so he's definitely the right man to play alongside Dobson this Sat not to mention his vast experience. In turn Hall will give us more threat from the back on kick-returns etc.



A tough ask to go to Saints in a play-off game with 6 players out but we've done it 3 times already this season with the last being when they were only missing Soliola and had 16 penalties so I've got a sneeky feeling we can do it again.

Are the St Helens fans likely to see Beaumont play?

I agree with your suggestion regarding Hall at 6 but disagree with your choice of fullback against St Helens, the young guy in question is simply not ready for regular first team action by some distance and throwing him in at the deep end in such an important game would be the wrong option in my opinion.

However, i believe he is a very good prospect and with further good coaching from Sandy, plus with a little more meat on him, he could make it in Super league in the years to come.

Until then he is still very much work in progress imo.
