| I'm going up for this one. Not sure who I want to see win the comp either. I suppose If France go up there and win they will deserve it, but it feels like we have been treated to some awful performances by the national team recently.
I think Scotland have built a good environment for their players to play in, are doing good work at junior level from what I know and this would be a good reward for them and the die hard fans over the border.

| Defeat from the jaws of victory there last night. Agar and the players should be ashamed of themselves.

Why so? Scotland turned up in the second half!
One thing we've learnt from this comp is that the elite 1 is garbage. We need a second French team in the championships ASAP to give the French a wider player pool playing at a higher level to pick from

Yep Ricky, the Elite IS garbage and a second french team in the top flight is imperative. Toulouse continue to do a good job with the Academy making them the best of a mediocre bunch. The Academy set-up would improve within the SL framework IMO.
Re- the French national team : We are no further now than when Bobby was sacked after the previous debacle in Albi. What have we learned in those years ? The inclusion of Remi, Morgan & others would probably made the difference but what has been the contribution of Mr Agar ? The poor performance against the USA last year was the writing on the wall for me with some pretty negative tactics against a well drilled Materson side.
This squad can do better and us faithful who slog it out the Elite games deserve better too...

I just thought after playing themselves into a good position it shouldn't have been lost. Scotland did get the momentum their way, crowd e.t.c.
I reckon Scotland deserved to win the comp overall as well IMO. Just thought/hoped France might pull it out of the bag.
Second bit, yeah, Its got to be ASAP.
