Hi Peter the Spurs and Saints fan you refer to I think Is a gent called Rob Mackey, he's the only one I know that matches that description. I know 'Cardiff Cymru' Ian Golden met up with the 'wasp' out in Albi too. Was totally gutted I couldnt be out there myself, was one trip to many alas. thanks for the reply - I managed to track down the drunken taffy from the Saints forum - god,he's an ugly brute but a good lad all the same
it was a good day for the welsh at Albi and they fully deserved their victory (speaking as a neutral)
good luck to them and to Iestyn,a true legend of tha game (i'm a Saints fan !) and a really nice guy as we found out after the match when he took the trouble to sign the programme & chat etc
speaking of Crusaders,spoke with Tony Duggan at Lezignan on sunday who is still hopeful of getting some cash out of the Crusaders despite their financial problems - still playing well and enjoying his rugby down south
