| Quote charlie caroli="charlie caroli"Can't see any shocks for the opening round. Here are my predictions
Dews by 12 points,
Toulouse by 22 points.
Fev by 24 points.
Leigh by 20 points.
London by 14 points.
Batley by 8 points.
A hard long season for some teams.I would love to be at Fev on Sunday, as I think Fev are dark horses to finish second this year.Charlie knows.
'"
Fev by 24 Charlie lol behave... we finished above them last year, we might be under done for Sunday and short of our 1st choice pack but i expect us to be able to tackle
I see you’re dalliance with those ‘considerably richer than yow’ hasn’t dampened your fishing/phishing technique
This may be the last championship with something to play for, but it should be a good comp, i can see half a dozen sides capable of giving each other a fruitless Sunday afternoon. I doubt we will see a runaway leader like the Robins last time round.
Fev might just nick it from us, but i think Toronto may pull off a shock, momentum in sport goes a long way.

Well Dave, I've truly got egg all over my face
Leigh were terrible ,we went 12 nil up early on then it all went wrong,I couldn't name a MoM as they were all average, for me a must next week is drop Ben Reynolds, put Mortimer at 6, and bring Baptiste in at 9,Its to early to have a go at Jukes but his Coaching must improve, we fell for Rowley's game plan all the way, Toronto are a good side no doubt, but I still think we are better, although today's result differs to my opinion.
It's early days yet Batley beat us first game up and we were promoted to SL that year so plenty of time, a lot of fans are unhappy tonight, only positive was a crowd of 5,500 and no Canadians,it's a case of get back on the horse, and myself, well that yolk is hard to remove.
.'"
Well Charlie, i admire your optimism, but i just don’t think turning the losing habit into a winning one is as simple as having a decent side on paper.
I don’t expect Fax to hit their straps until Tangata and Kidds knees recover, we should then have a mobile pack with some punch, without that, Johnno and Muzza will be feeding off scraps for the time being.
Toronto, Leigh, London and Fev all look pretty evenly matched and will take points off each other.
I’m no mystic meg but i would expect a leyther to know this is a very physical division, its brute force and guile that get the job done.
I still say the side that got you promoted is better than last and this seasons. Fev and London are not the same sides either, and Toronto have that spark that your guys had, i wonder why
Welcome back to the SL Graveyard that is the Championship, and remember your time on the SL gravy train was just one season pass.

I've always been an optimist, when I play Poker folk say ,I will chase Rainbows to win a hand, and some of the horses I back belong on the Central Beach at Blackpool, I do think Leigh will be there at the Top of the League in August, it's only one game in, remember when the winds from the East, lean to the West.

He's grown his hair longer Norman - and actually looks younger for it! He also looked plenty young enough on the pitch! He completely controlled everything around the ptb and had us on the back foot most of the time. Also, there's nobody better at 'playing the referee' in that area. (within the rules, of course!)

Very true Alan, he is the sort of player every team should want.
