Got me guessing  It says Three big players announcements 

They need to try harder because the obvious conclusion would be Jayden Myers. I must admit I thought he was already on a long term contract.

Not sure what you mean with this comment if you think the club is not extending contracts of young up and coming players

I think Jayden signed for 2 years meaning come December he would be able to sign for another club.

The reference to the club must try harder was in relation to their video clue. I admit that I did think we gave Myers a four year contract when he first signed from Bradford but if it was only two then yes a further extension is definitely required and justified.

Harvey Smith extended to 2030. Great news he's only going to get better.

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised we haven't offered him another contract, especially with Griff leaving. I like what he's done to change his game to suit what the team needed, plus also himself. He's put on some good size and is a really solid SL backrower. Just thinking, it's not as if we've got a load of backrowers at the Club, unless we're bringing someone in that we don't know about. He's gonna be behind, Stourton, Vagana, Seth and Cam Scott, so 4 atm, and we obviously have Pitts and Jazz fighting for that 13 shirt, with also Cozza if he stays. For me, he'd definitely be worth a squad place, like he has this year, and he wouldn't cost a fortune. 


It's obvious he wanted to stay, especially as he's just bought a house around here, so you can't even put it down to wanting more game time. Saying that, one of the new teams will probably be able to provide him with a starting 17 spot, hopefully York, as it's not too far away, and he knows Mash. 
I know some people won't be happy about this, but I suppose you can't keep everyone, and we've got to trust the coaching staff, it's not as if they're not signing our young players to long contracts etc..
