Just remembered its printed in Briggas and it was his idea in last weeks L/xpress that SL save the Bulls . might buy league weekly next week.

We were awarded a Grade C licence Fev didnt apply, and they might have bought new stands still to be erected ,but just wanted to know his Reasons .

Also our stadium is`nt called The Fat Lads Stadium

It ain't your stadium, it belongs to Calderdale Council, and therefore vulnerable from local government budget controls. Maybe the RFL are finally seeing sense about overspending and are impressed by Fev's plans to build a perfectly suitable stadium on the cheap?

Rather them then us with the current state of the system and Super League...

Alternatively council owned stadiums are cheaper to run as repairs etc are covered by the council and rent is paid, therefore making it easier for financial forecasts and no hidden big expenditures for repairs down the line, also fev still have a slope which IMO is unacceptable in the current elite leagues, alternatively we could all take a deck chair down spring hall, get a burger van and bobs your uncle!!.

Cas own their stadium, Wakefield theirs, fev theirs, they all have lovely plans!!!. But so far that it!!. No way will they put fev in without taking either Cas or wakey out first!.

Come on man have a 5 min sit down and think about it, its pretty obvious. We run 5 teams and a womans team we have a very successful scolarship scheme and a very good u18s team that competes against other super league teams, we fund this team ourselves to the tune of 100k, other super league clubs get it paid for. you only ran 1 team until you started a reserves this year, hes got it spot on were miles ahead of you

It's not just plans at Fev we will start the ground by the end of August and we have the money to do it Even though this will happen we will not be put in S L next season

Regarding been the best club to go in its well know that we are doing everything right that the RFL want us to do off the field and are continuing to work with them on a continuous basis to make sure that when we do apply everything is in place

The one big thing is can we afford to be in and we are told that there is a consortium ready to with the money and the RFL know about this too

Lets see what happens in the future but I'm confident that next season we will be playing you again and if I was to be asked what would happen in 2014 I would say there will be S/L 1. And S/L 2 with 12 teams in each



If you heard your coach on radio Leeds on Sunday he said Fev have set the standards in this competition for others to reach

Is that the same consortium Faisal was rumoured to have lined up for us when we applied? Didn't see him for dust when we failed with our application.



I think rhino meant the standards fev set on the pitch!





To be fair, both Fax and Fev are the stand out clubs in the championships. A tough call - better where we are being competitive and winning silverware or getting smashed and over stretching our budget in SL?



I think both clubs just need to bide their time and keep growing. I feel the RFL will need us at some point........
