Is that a draw after 80 minutes or a draw after extra time?

I remember when we lost to the Bulls at Cardiff and reading before that match that the replay, if needed, would be at Elland Road.



Personally I think it's stupid having a replay in this day and age. Extra time then if it's still tied golden point.

Especially as thats the rule in the previous rounds...why ditch it for the Final?





If it was a draw on Saturday, it would be nigh on impossible for either club to go on and win the GF IMO...too much of a fixture pile-up, they play-offs are near enough to the CC Final as it is...

It'd be easier for Wire as they would be guarenteed a top 4 finish. We would have 3 big games in 7 days and then have to go into knock out football if we lost to Hull 3 days after the CCF Replay.



Idiotic IMO.

And plus you've got a sell out crowd and captive world wide audience tuning in meaning everyone wants to see a result on the day,not sit through an exiting drawn final only to be told you've got to go through it all again midweek.

However with 2 brilliant drop goal specialists in Briers and Sinfield i cant see a draw however that does not detract that the greatest sport in the world is run by the biggest d1cks in the world. First McNamara now this, is this the case for the GF as well.

I can't believe that both sets of fans wouldn't prefer to see the game decided on Saturday.

They should have a vote via a keypad on each seat (ala Who Wants To Be A Millionaire)

The Final is a 90000 sellout and Bramall Lane holds about 32,000. Should be interesting if nowt else!
