I couldnt make the game, looks like are defence wasnt the best ?

Easy game. On another day we could of put 100 on them. We should of been 60 plus up at half time.

We've been here before with Saints. A great display the week before against one of the big boys and a less than convincing performance the week after. We won the game and that's all that matters really, but it wasn't a good performance certainly defensively. Offensively we scored some good tries though and should've scored more really. How Matt Gidley didn't score just before half time I'll never know, it was a criminal play in the end and Salford hit back to go in 28-16 down rather than 34-10.

I think a lot of the tries were because of the short turnaround. Both teams played on Sunday, so backing up for a Friday night match is gonna leave them more tired than usual, so more gaps are naturally going to appear in the defence.

Im just happy we got the 2 points.

But I don't think fluffing three walk-in tries like we did has anything to do with backing up.



Personally, I was nervous about this match because I was aware we would be knackered after last week and probably would be easy targets because of that. Since Salford can attack very well when they get the chance, I thought we might slip up again against them. So I'm just glad we managed a win. And it was lovely to see Wello bagging four tries. It was also great to see Lomax's catches. Some of them were outstanding.

A wins a win at the end of the day.

Yup. It was a relief to get it!

Happy with the 58 points scored, some of Salfords 34 points were referee assisted. Just happy we come off the pitch without any more injuries.

Just need an energy sapping, hard hitting match from Wire v Leeds.

Was some decent moments but overall a poor game

Not sure about that. Puletua, Gidley and Gardner all looked decidedly injured at various points during the match. Hopefully, all will be fit and well for next week.

Where was the crowd? Less than 8k?
