Quote Offside Monkey="Offside Monkey"Sorry for my ignorance, but I'm thinking of getting a season ticket for next year. I've never had one before and I'm not sure what you guys are talking about.
If I phone up for one for next season, are they just going to ask me where abouts I want to sit and that be it, or is it more complicated?'"
I got a season ticket for the first time this time too, just to secure a spot at Widnes really.
You won't be allocated a seat number at the time you arrange your season ticket. But if you want to be in an allocated seating area then the staff will provide you with the appropriate form to complete. You will then have a seat on one side at Widnes.
My season ticket was purchased before the deals ended and so I have a guaranteed seat behind the sticks at Widnes and a guaranteed spot behind the sticks at the new stadium, should I choose to renew my season ticket (I only got a year's deal). I don't know what the case will be for you as the deals ended in September I think.
I was told when I purchased my season ticket that an actual book of tickets would be available at some point, hopefully before Christmas, to collect from the town centre shop.
I hope that helps.
ETA: just noticed on the Saints website that the season ticket deal has been extended to 1 January so you'll be able to guarantee your spot at the new stadium as well as at Widnes.
