Looks like just an admin and communication issue. Robbie saying they all get paid early next week as everyone usually gets paid at end of month. Players seemed to think they should be paid today.



As frustrating as it is for the players, I think they should be reminded of their responsibilities of using social media. Our club is in the public eye and putting tweets about payment can affect us when trying to attract new sponsors/investment.



But i I can understand frustrations if they thought they were been paid today.

Can understand why a poster is saying remind the players of their responsibility in other words keep it all hush hush and brush it under the carpet.



Wonder if this is why you pushing for some more money from the Giants? Lots of questions hanging over the Bulls me thinks.

Just a mistake in timing due to changes in management structure and people's responsibilities changing as a result. Annoying for players that wages go in a working day late but no need to blow it out of proportion.

Ill try that one with my mortgage company, no need to blow it out of all proportion, be a few SL players on the phone to their bank 1st thing Monday I reckon.

Sounds like a genuine error but I can understand the players frustration, especially with last year probably ringing in their ears. Agree with Flying Prop and others though that the players shouldn't be jumping on those trouble causing sites to report it!

Call me a wet mop but I would like to think all the players have enough money or savings to see them through a short delay in getting paid and would be able to make it a few more days without becoming homeless.... not condoning them not getting paid on time but it has happened to most of us at some point in life and we have coped for a short time.



And also I haven't seen anything that has specifically said 'the Bulls are after more money from Hudds'... you were found to have not been entirely truthful in court and the RFL are looking at re-opening the case. In any case I think you will be answerable to the RFL and not us.

Bet Mason would not have been bothered. Probably Kopout would have tweeted "I`ve been paid Honest!"

Would have thought there was a specific date in contracts. I know there is in mine and because I was paid a day late few years ago I changed all my standing order/ direct debits so they came out of my bank four or five days after my official pay date to prevent any issues if it happened again. If players have been getting paid early and were now using official date in their contracts can't see an issue. Players should have been warned either way beforehand though.

Depends how your paid if your 4 weekly date changes every month. Likewise might be last Friday in the month which changes date.
