As for Jarrod, I reckon the club need to come clean as that's the second 'sighting' very recently. If they don't get it announced they'll be overtaken by events at this rate.

It'd be nice to hear that he'd signed for someone. Regardless of whether it's us or someone else. Just so everyone can stop speculating and stop banging on about him.

Incidentally, Sam Bates tweeted earlier about being off to run some hills with Jarrod. That doesn't suggest he's signed for Bradford. If he had signed for anyone, that would suggest Dewsbury, but more likely he just hasn't for anyone yet and he's trying to keep fit.

Just to bang on about him a moment longer, it does rather feel like I'm in some sort of alternative twilight zone reality where he inexplicably can't find a club. I mean seriously? Sure he has flaws but there's no way he should be without a club, it's absolutely bonkers.

Agreed. You wonder if perhaps there's something more to it (like his asking price is too much - pure guess by the way). I would think he would improve the squad of any current Championship team, with the exception of Leigh who have 3 top class halves already (and another out on loan).

Agree with that, though the problem may be that Jarrod would clearly want a full time gig and, to the best of my knowledge, there aren't many of those going begging right now. There is one club, quite close to home, with a half back shortage though. I've said before I'd be delighted to see him back so I won't say it again....Damn!

I'm pretty sure that Sammut lives in the Gomersal area pretty close to Tong. I was up at the school on Saturday morning and there are loads of different classes going on for the general public. It may sound crazy, but perhaps he was there for something other than to train with the Bulls squad.



As for him not having a club, I think that he's had surgery on both of his wrist in the off season and is currently out of action. I'm not sure on the extent of the injuries but maybe it's connected to his current availability (if he is actually available)?

He's either available or signed with a part time club. No other reason he'd be doing his own hill training with another part time player on a Tuesday morning.
