Yes, I imagine this is an attempt at a publicity stunt. The club has far more important concerns, like fielding a competitive team and increasing crowds.

I don't know about Vuvuzelas, but somebody had something that made a noise like a dying duck in the East stand at Wigan on Sunday.

I think they have done it with the hope that it will be on sky sports news.

When Crusaders came a couple of weeks ago one of their fans sat in front of me had a large plastic horn of some sort, fortunately he didn't use it very much. I can just about put up with drums and the odd trumpet, but air horns, plastic horns and those noisy things people blow at the Grand Final do my head in.
