What you really mean is that your club gets the profit instead of RL development or grass roots, because if the RFL receive less income then less is paid out on development or grass roots. Don't pretend that it somehow disappears from the game if it goes to the RFL instead of your club.

They do but the money to pay for it generally comes from the RFL from Sport England funding (although that particular well is all but dry) and the profits they make. Not to mention the money paid to amateur clubs or schemes like the fund that Fev have just benefitted from.

I'm not saying don't buy from your club, but just don't think it's all upside, if it's going to your club it can't go elsewhere.
