Is this the most unpredictable season yet? 7 draws already, and shock results aplenty including the wins for Salford and Widnes today.

Not just that I think the quality of the games has increased and there seems to have been a rise in intensity as well IMO.

It's considerably better than last season, which was full of knock-on-a-thons and porous defences. I'm looking forward to seeing how this season pans out.

So after the knee jerking from doom sayers last week about our form (which has been quite good at times) and the outrage at sky daring to show a widnes game I'm wondering whether some of those would like to address today's events.

That being said, I think the level of unpredictability of today won't be seen on Monday or even for a while now. Wigan and Hull are likely to get big wins I would imagine - not to mention Warrington and Hudds.

Are you seriously trying to predict when unpredictability will happen?

On a side note, wins for Hemel and Oxford in the Championship 1 opening day too! Hemel result particularly surprising at London Skolars.

Hull away to Wakey on Monday with the injury list they've got looks far from likely that they'll win, let alone by a big margain. Hudds....who knows, their last game at home they were soundly beaten by Bradford so it's possible Widnes can compete there. HKR beat Wire at home this year so can't rule them out against Wigan. Wire/London I would say will depend on the Wire teamsheet and that they stay focused, they have to go to Leeds the following Sunday and it's the first meeting since the GF, if they go into the London game thinking straight forward 2 points then it could become trickier than it should.
