Another SL fixture in urgent need of reasons to justify it's existence because whatever the result, it's just another irrelevance among many.
Major structural change to the game cannot come fast enough IMHO.

Because of course, if were to have the team in 12th relegated, and a top 5 play-off system, this major structural change will highlight the importance of a game between 8th and 10th.
As Wigan V Widnes showed us all last night, when there is meaning imparted in to the game and every game counts, we are guaranteed close and hard fought games………….no really.

I'm pretty sure that Hull and Bradford are currently 8th and 10th because they can relax in the knowledge that those licensed positions of mediocrity are rewarded with 1) still being in a play-off spot or still in sight of a play-off spot, and... 2) safe in the knowledge they can finish as low as they like yet still be rewarded for it and continue to be awarded a licence to be as mediocre as they like.

Hull to win, but what I seem to find odd is that people think any game is irelevent? its 80 minuets of rugby league what more do you want? under the top of the pre play off system if it were in use now most of the games this weekend would be meaningless there are only three teams that could win it & at the bottom only two would go down that leaves nine with nothing to play for. It just make me curious as to what people expect ? under either system only one club can win the others are only making up the numbers.
