Not surprised he wants to go. That's a great deal and he should have enough to be very good in SL.
This unfortunately is where the game is right now in the sense we can't attract younger high quality half backs from the NRL as well as there a huge lack of quality half backs home grown that Catalan could sign instead.

Well yeah if clubs had the resources to actually scout the talent in the NSW Cup. Plus it would still be a gamble. How do you justify replacing a top player like Maloney with an unknown player from the NSW cup? |

The majority of NSW players dont meet the elite sportsperson requirements to gain a visa. I believe they have to have played a minimum number of NRL games/ international games. |
