Surely in a professional outfit sending someone who is in close contact with the playing staff who looks unwell is a wise and prudent move? if it is to do with a neck injury that requires surgery likewise it is the correct thing to be sending him home as can any of us see alker being anything other than very hands on when training his players?.



FFS this seems to me that the club can't do right for doing wrong, what would the reaction be if the club kept him on and he made his neck injury worse and then the club became liable for his injuries and future.

Just seen that story...its a very strange season we are having both on and off the pitch.

is it just me, or does it read like ALker has spat his dummy out? going to the union officials etc. If its been done in his welfare surely he cant argue bout that?



Or is there more to this than meets the eye?

Put it this way. If there was a huge fan, and a big pile of horse manure. And the said horse manure was thrown in the general direction of the huge fan, it could potentially hit that fan and make a right mess.

This is too good to be true...first McRae and now Alker gone just 9 games into the season. Neither should have been involved in any of those 9 games IMO mind you but that's another argument.

I'm still adament the club need to find a young hungry MgGuire type Aussie and stick with him for a few years until he builds a sucsessful team around the good players we already have onboard.
