I posted earlier in the year querying when we last beat Wigan, Saints and Leeds in the same season. New question, when did we last do the double over all three?

Absolutely awesome performance. I now have to break a 6 year habit and go to Hull on Friday.

We were great today. Almost everyone had a great game. Still the odd mistake here and there that might get punished in the playoffs but I think we'll be better still in them.



Quick turnaround for Friday footy at Hull. They're playing well too and have some very dangerous players. LLS far from confirmed. Hopefully Wood and Solamona will be back. Anyone know what's up with em?

I would'nt say the team performance was awesome, it was solid and professional, There were too many unforced Wigan errors for it to be awesome, but there were some awesome individual performances.



The title is there to be taken, just hope we don't have a repeat performance of Leigh in the 80s, when in a similar position...

My definition of awesome, was taken in several contexts

We were playing the league leaders

We were playing the Challenge Cup "champions

"

We were playing the self appointed "most famous team in the world"

We hadn't played competatively for a fortnight

We had 3 influential players missing

We "railroaded" them for half an hour, and made them look no better than Wakefield, in the process.



Yes, we were going to make mistakes (and we did), but to stick nearly 40 points on them (and have a totally good try wiped out)...I'd class that as awesome.





Oh, and before ANY Pies come on here, mentioning Wembley

It was the defence that impressed me most today. It was completely brutal, especially in the first half where Wigan were hardly our of their own half of the pitch and struggling to make metres.

No excuses from Wigan. Warrington were good value for the win and it tees up an interesting last weekend. If Warrington play as well at Hull then top spot will be there's. Beaten home and away we can't have any complaints or excuses.

Probably means he won't play next week

Seems the idiot pie eaters are putting it down to them making to many errors and not playing well.



Not the fact their errors was forced thru a good physical defense and being totally better in every department.



I hope you get top spot as IMO you've been the best team In super league this year by playing good fair rugby.
