We'll have surpassed my expectations for the year. 2 semi final appearances and finishing the regular season 3 points off top. I know we'll end up with nowt should we lose to the pies but I'll be content based on the loss of so much experience (Moz, Briers, Carvell etc) from last year and the blooding of a number of young players.

More than happy with this season.



Made it to within 80 minutes of both Finals and blooded a heap of talented youngsters.



We'll lose next week, but it's been a great campaign. Bring on next year with Clark & Sims.

What on earth is all this negativity about? Anyone would think we were playing the Wigan of the late eighties/early nineties. This lot are nothing special and for a wild Monas pass we would have gone on to stroll to victory a few weeks back. Let's stop making excuses and hedging our bets....it'll be a tough game and a great game (I hope) but one we are very capable of winning. I think cats will do saints as well.

We're not going to lose

I knew we would have some common ground however daft my post are to you.

We won't lose, what is wrong with people on here i hope the player's don't come on here and read all the negative rubbish on here, we are more than capable of beating the pies so let's be more positive.

It would be ironic if we won the GF given the players we lost at the end of last year

Its what Wigan did last year, their team a year earlier was alot better but couldnt make the finals.

My head says we won't win because it's one game too far against class opposition.



My heart says we'll walk out at DW and smash seven bells out of the Pie scum and there's nothing I want more than that to happen.



All I meant by my post is win or lose next week, I'm a proud Wire.



Dont confuse my realism with negativity.

Everyones carrying niggles its been a long season, yes a week off would of been nice but sometimes its better to build up steam like Leeds have shown in the past, Wigan have struggled after weeks off and Wane didnt have a reason for it last time.



If we can keep our players on the pitch we have a great chance, this Wigan side is far from unbeatable.
