| Thinking of getting a home shirt online but its difficult to gauge what size as previous years I have bought XL found them too small and other years fine, anyone who has bought one are they generous sizes or small if that makes sense

| If size XL is too small then unless you're about seven feet tall you should be buying an exercise bike, not a new shirt.

I blame the Mrs - I'm 100% sure over Christmas she has been washing ALL my clothes on a very hot wash - because all of them seem too small and tight now for some reason...........

| I think the shirts are definitely smaller this year. Two of my mates who usually take a large are in medium and I am usually in a small, but this year I am wearing an XS, which is exactly the same size as last year's small when compared side by side (I am 5'8" and just under 12 stone, so I'm not a complete midget waif either).
Britain is just getting American-style fat, that's all.

Apologies for the pedantry, but, doesn't your post suggest that the shirts are getting bigger?
