I wouldnt actually be too dissapointed if you beat us by a few Sunday. The bookies always read too much in to these games and with us already been second favourites it might give us the chance to get some better odds. Like yeah everyone can look at our team and say its a whole lot better than last seasons but maybe they wont gel, maybe our monster pack wont get over the top of people, maybe our half backs will turn out to be worse than Jones/Black combination(Cant see how thats possible) and maybe our backs will forget how to score trys. The bookies must remeber that other teams have improved too and id be happy if we finished 6th.

Just had a look at their squad again. Ste Tyrer is in the centres! We should get bags of tries running at him. Oh and Jim Gannon has re-signed for them, it just gets better and better. Our front row can sit in the stands when he is on the field, the penalties he gives away means that they won't be needed to make any yards.



I saw Nanyn the other day, looks like he could do with a couple of months back under Rowley's fitness regime. Has certainly put on some pounds, in fact he looks like a double D cup now.

but you must remember SIMMSFAXTEDDY that if by some miracle you should beat leigh by 20+,it wont matter a jot unlike July the 17th last at Blackpool when your team played for 79 minutes and 12 seconds only and our team played for the full 80 minutes and won a well merited victory, and that mattered

Looks like I was too cautious in my prediction. I didn't realise that they had signed Morrison and Handforth as well!! Thackery and Handforth in the halfs doesn't bode well for Fax in the coming season. When they realise what they have got with Harrison as coach and replace him, I think it may be too late for them to make a decent challenge this season.
