Nothing wrong with a bit of ambition, but thats a bit lofty, even if they were in SL. They used to struggle to attract crowds bigger than 6'000 even during their glory days of 1985-88.

But they know how to do it now. Instead of giving away 3000 free tickets and adding all free tickets to the attendance regardless of them being used ...................

its a pity their new marketing guy cannot speak English...what on earth is "by hook or by crock"?

Something I would have like to have heard from the Leigh club , he obviously knows it wont be easy , but understands the principle of getting people to sample something is the best way of getting them to then buy it



It's no use aiming to increase by a few hundred , all you will get is a few dozen , go for thousands , get hundreds , go for tens of thousands , get thousands

At least they're making their friendlies more affordable, £10 adults, £1 kids = £22 for a family of 4.

Whereas at Leigh £42, which is one reason I didn't go against Salford, it was too much at Xmas with all the usual seasonal expenditure.

I would have thought 10,000 was eminently achievable for 'Fax - after all, didn't they get almost 10,000 for their final home league game with Batley, to take their 2010 average, to 2,500 and a half?

If Leigh were in SL and making the top 4 regularly and getting to the semis of the CC and playoffs with a win or two. What crowds do people think we would get at the LSV?

It all depends on the attitude taken by the club ?
