Would Batley be top 2 or 5th

You seriously think they have worked that out yet?

Surely it should be who finish 1 & 2 in the League.

If you mean who gets the extra cash it's the two who reach the Grand Final.

Batley will either be first or second this year - and I reckon the same 'logic' will be applied next year.

I'd get Mick Nanyn signed up for next year

Why are we rewarding teams who finish in mediocre positions.... Time to consign the GF to the dusty bin.

I have always thought the team that finish top of the league are the most consistent over the season so should be the champions, and the end of season play offs a separate competition.

But it is.



Since the RFL went down the crazy franchising route a club ticks a box for winning the league another box for winning the NRC and another box for winning the Grand Final.





Course it did not matter. Unless you where in the top league were each top league club got three votes to every other clubs one it would never change until they realised club gates would fall for everyone if this crazy system continued.

I am a knowall who predicted from day 1 it would never work. Btw I sent Richard Lewis an E mail showing the LSV the day after he said on Granada TV it wasn't there.

There should be no need for play-offs when every team plays each other twice. You should only need play-offs to decide the champions when teams, like in the NRL, only play some teams once but others twice.
