anyone who went last year, can you sit anywhere inside the stadium with a day ticket or is it only certain blocks you can sit in?

im going with 2 hull fans (

) but obviously want to sit with our supporters for our game.

Once you got in you could sit where you wanted, people are in and out all the time especially when the beer and food stalls are outside on the ground floor.

so if i buy tickets from giants ticket office will it be a reserved block for our fans?

Last year I got the cheapest tickets for the weekend and never sat in that area. For our game there were two blocks of fans one in the west upper and another in the east lower in the sun( wish we'd chosen that option!)! Could be interested in a lift for the two of us! Can't go for the weekend this time!



Also I could sort you out some tickets at season ticket rate! And I don't even have a st! But I do have a couple of priviledges!

Last year we didn't want the seats being offered to Giants fans (West stand, out of the sun and miles back) but were told that in order to utilise the discount tokens we had to book these. I objected and wrote to the RFL and if I remember correctly I had to send off the tokens to the RFL directly and we were given seats in the east stand at the front. I'm waiting for confirmation that you can book seats anywhere in Murrayfield (well the bits that are open) and still use the discount tokens from the ST booklet. I think this was one of the things that came out in the questionnaire following MW.

This year we have booked a 2 bedroom apartment in the Grassmarket area with our 2 Rhinos mates - taking our own food and booze - perfect!

I'll be going up on sunday morning and comin back monday morning wishy dunno if thats any use? And any privalege's would be most welcome

Hmm!! Have thought about staying the sunday night, I will get back to you on that one, it's the saturday night I can't do due to Towns match with Colchester. As for the priviledges I'm sure I can sort summat out for you I did last year for a few!

You can sit anywhere in the stadium you want.

Our designated block for reserved seating is West Stand Upper Tier Block 16 (book through the Giants) but the East Stand Lower is all unreserved seating this year and you can book this either through your own club or through RFL ticketing.

We are going in the East Stand Upper (in the sun hopefully). Take your thermals as even in the relativley nice weather we had last year it was perishing later in the day/early evening.

To be honest I really cannot remember how strict the stewards were in insisting you stick to the area you had tickets for - I think the upper tier ticket holders could 'slum' it in the lower tier as the matches changed but not the other way around.
