Can anyone justify to me why we have given this guy a contract extension?



He must be on some good money but his form this season has been awful and hasnt warranted an extension and the inevitable pay rise thats gone with it.



IMO we have better options at the club like wardle, cudjoe and lawrence (who was a centre and was told he was a second rower and last night found himself on the wing!)

He's definitely on a good wedge. Hudds offered him more money and a longer contract than Saints did when he left.

lately everytime he gets tackled he plays the ball then stands there like a pensioner and as if hes ready to come off with an injury ... dont think he can hack it anymore taking the tackles



and ive lost cound the number of times he comes running onto a ball then gets smashed and knocks on...or just knocks on...3 times lastnight i think

It was Gilmour's fantastic break and palm play that set up the wonder try for Leroy and Lawrence to finish off a couple of months ago if I remember right

shame he cant do it more often instead of getting smashed all the time.

give em all a 1 year contract! would keep them on there toes and we would win the grand final and cup

Saints didn't offer him anything and I don't know of a single Saints fan who was happy to see him go.

We did offer him a contract but only offered him a 1 year deal due to the over 30 policy. Huddersfield offered him a 2(?) year deal and that was better for him to secure his future. They also offered a little bit more money than saints were prepared to.

That's not what Gilmour said at the time. He said he hadn't been offered anything by Saints. Longy was offered a one year deal and he turned it down for two at Hull.



Not sure an over 30 policy exists actually. Wello was offered two years and he's now 31. Puletua has just been offered two years and he is 32!
