Have to say todays performance is probably gonna have quite a damaging effect, even I considered going home early, but there seemed to be a gloom come over the whole stand this afternoon!

What on earth was going on?

we could not complete a set of 6 our kicking game was poor, the defensive effort shocking, and that really goes for the whole squad.

We cannot blame the ref, lots of calls for offside but, Salford line were so quick off the line we never got any momentum, where as we took 2 steps and then waited

Even when we kicked the ball on the 6th and they gathered on the 10mtr we then let em loose and first tackle is made on our 30!!! shocking

There are actually very few positives to come from today, maybe Mitchell! and Karl Temata oh yes and shockingly pryce (see other thread)



4-1 on for Gateshead anyone?

As a kid playing full back many many moons ago, I was always told when you are running back to collect a ball get there as quick as possible and get as far away from your touch line as possible

Dont amble back and then be shocked when you get caught "in touch" from a franky nothing kick, LUKE DORN you been doing it a while now why basic errors like that?

We appear to be very good at tracking/shadowing the attackers, the occasional tackle might help

For the first time ever, I felt ashamed to wear the Quins shirt, I left with five minutes to go, and had been considering doing so for the previous fifteen

you know mate, i was feeling the same and was wishing i did not have the shirt on

seemed to be a whole lethargy in the squad



As for the salford fans, any of you that read this well done for the noise you made and thanks for coming down.

couldn't even hurry to form a scrum and stop the clock, no idea whatsoever. I would say school boy standard but that would be an insult to schoolboys who probably play a lt better than a so called professional team did today. Mad as hell you bet your life I am. The fans paid to watch that shambles of inadequecy

Here you go, I have 3 positives:

- Pryce

- Howell at full back after an appalling first half at centre

- And THE BIG ONE: I stayed home and watched on TV





Negatives: Far too many to list.

Why rush to form the scrum at the end of the game, they probably wanted it over as much as we did, so why stop the clock especially as it was there head and feed, it was not as if we were going to pull anything back

Dorn = hamstring

They ambled to all the scrums, there was not a single time I could remeber them showing a sense of urgency

dont agree, about 20 mins to go when we were only 2 scores behind there was ungency, at least once!!!!



I say it every year, lets forget about the challenge cup, give the blokes a week off for the next round and try to get some SL wins under our belt make the play offs and lose in the first round of play offs, at least its one more decent game to watch

Or maybe scrape a win oooop North, get another draw to a lower league club scrape through then have a good game away at least and lose by a controvesial decision or 2 as usual

Did you see that Pryce was always 10 metres behind our attacking line. Was that because he plays better from there, or did he think we we were too flat. It didn't matter as we never gave him the ball so it was all theoretical. I see that Salford gave Feca the ball near the line, he falls over and the video ref gives a try even though he grounded it a foot short. Fair does though Salford were a country mile better.

Shocking, it's getting worse with every game. No passion whatsoever, an insult to the fans who pay their wages. If they don't wanna be here, then please leave and stop taking the fans for a ride. I wouldn't mind if we put the kids in for the rest of the season, as at least we know they'll give 110% every week.
