I didn't really rate him during his season at Leigh, but he proved a real eye-opener at Catalans. I suspect this was down to how he was allowed to play.

What has changed since he played for us in 2014 (a season best forgotten) ?

Exactly, he was rescued from some backfield Aussie league by a desperate Catalans side and now has been cast aside again(even Leigh didn't want him!). Why would we want him??

When he signed for Catalan, he was working on a building site.

Drinkwater certainly came on well at Catalan, but I am still not totally convinced, but he might be worth a one year contract? ? Not sure how much he would cost?
