How vital has he been for us this year? Especially when we weren't in the best of form early on, he was dragging us through games and really setting a standard. Everything about the guy is just pure quality on and off the field. Ultimate professional and just as impressive on the field, he's been one of our most consistent performers all year. I would put him and Lockers as the most important players in our team in 2011, although they rarely take the headlines.





Hoff you will be missed

missed big time, hopefully we can cope at 2nd row next year, not sure whether Hock is up to filling his spot, Farrell certainly isn't on recent showings

The guy is a machine, truly class. We have been so lucky to have had this guy.

At a time when many people have been likening Maguire's time with us as with Graham Lowe's 87 to 88 seasons, I am seeing similarites with Hoffman to Ian Roberts....a player still regarded highly amongst Wigan fans as a linchpin to the club's success despite only staying one season before heading back to the NRL.

cant really argue with much of what has allready been stated as hoff has been awesome almost from the start



the only thing i would question is his replacement , we have a lot of cover in that area right now

Top player and from the evidence I've seen and heard a top bloke too. Hopefully we can send him back to Melbourne with a Grand Final Winners medal to go with his CC winners medal

Top player, he was dropping off form at Melbourne abit and I think this move over here has done him the world of good. He will go back there a better player & players like Farrell, Tuson, Hock, Hansen, Hughes will be better players because of him.

The work this guy does is defence for the team is phenomenal.



I don't just mean his tackling but every play of every set he is organising the correct numbers on either side of the PTB, and calling the line up. I haven't seen such a good organiser in SL.



Watching Hoffman and Finch work together is a pleasure, and as has been said, Hoff's an ultimate professional.



Really respect himk for the way he's gone about his business this year, he clearly never wanted to leave the Storm but he's come over here and made the most of it, and I'm chuffed he has a CC medeal to show for it. He did it the right way: signed a one year deak and saw out his contract, rather than commiting to 3 years and leaving halkfway through.

And didn't he do the full 80 minutes on Saturday? Think he was the only forward who did.

Get a new centre so Tomkins can go back into the second row.

He has been absolutley awesome this year and im gutted he's going at the end of the year, we are going to miss him a lot. It's not often that aussies come over and make an impact so quickly like he did.

I'd go with that. Definitely. I don't think Hock is a clever enough player to replace Hoffman.
