Well I don't know what happened but we nearly had a fight or several in block E232 over a total farce with seating/ticketing.



Thankfully we took our seats in row 23 early or we may have found someone else in them.



I don't know what went wrong but it all started when a big group behind us kept going to the steward complaining about their seats for some reason.



As more and more people arrived they started finding people in their seats. The steward copped out and told people to sit wherever they liked!



This culminated with people turning up at kick off time or just after getting very ed off to find people sat where they should be and I witnessed some very, very angry people ready to fight it out!



God knows what happened to the stewarding but it had vanished and while some senior bloke turned up later (too late) but it could have got very nasty.

Thank god you found something to moan about DaveO...

I hate DaveO's pessimism but he's bang on here and I'm onto the club and rfl Monday

They said they had messed up the ticketing and double printed seat numbers

I was on row 23 but had to sit else were on there as some one was in my seats because someone was in there's and so on FARCE!!!!

Why did I que up for 2 hours on a Saturday morning at 9 to pick my seats and not get them to then miss kick off for all the commotion

God help the World Cup if it's organised by the rfl

We were on row 23 as well. Seats 14 and 15.







Got mine off the Internet so wonder if that was a possible cause of the double booking? I was asked if I was in the right seats by someone. Just glad we were already seated.

Same thing happened in E230 as well lots of stewards in orange jackets and police. People were actually stood in the alleyway at kick off 15mins into the game a police man came and moved them elsewhere.

Not sure what seats we were in just got told to find some on same row

Which was bound to cause problems when the late comers arrived. I hope it didn't spoil your evening.

We were struggling to get to seats stewards looked at tickets and said there is a problem seats are already taken find one if you can. Something went wrong and it could have caused a lot of problems.

Nearly did close to us just around/after kick off. Not good enough.

Ask for a refund if you missed part if the match because of the RFL's fault. If this happens in the RLWC to newcomers they won't return.

Same with us, a group of 4 people turned up and produced identical tickets to ours. Thankfully they were reasonable people and went to discuss it with the Stewards.



Shocking from the RFL to get something as basic as ticketing wrong.

He clearly has a problem with some of us on here. I notice in his retraction (something he is forced to do quite a bit) that you didn't get the apology despite being the thread author. I simply don't respond to him any more, and life is a bit more beautiful as a result.
