Got the sense from his interview at the end tonight that he knows he's out for a pretty length period. Huge blow. Thought he's been playing superbly recently.

Personally hope we give Hampshire an extended run there. The obvious choice is perhaps Powell, but I think he's a very similar player to Smith, whereas Hampshire is more like agreen with his ability to take the line on. Give him a chance I say, but I fear he'll go for Powell.

Hampshire at 6 Sarge at 1 (if Bowen injured) could be an interesting thing for Wane to see IMO.

he didn't look to upbeat did he, also any news on gelling? or was he already injured and it was preplanned to bring goulding on after a certain amount of time?

In terms of where we go I think Wane will probably go with Powell but I'd give Hampshire a trot there. There is also Williams who Wane may fancy giving a run though with Powell back Micky Mac up.

4 Months at least for a ruptured biceps. If it's torn completely off the bone, it could be 6-9. That could very well be his last game in a Wigan shirt

Heard 'if' it was only a slight year he could be back in a month and that looks best case at the moment.
