It was a deliberate PR stunt; have hundreds of people lining up, to create a buzz outside the stadium and make those people who were passing by think that there was something to que up for.

Mate got the later train and missed the first 10 mins and said there was a long line of fans after him not happy about it.

Do Ya know i get sick of hearing people complaining about this subject even during the season we get it .

The answers simple "GET THERE EARLIER".

Its every game they turn up last shout and expect to stroll through the turnstile. What pees me off is i get there early to get parked and get in the ground then some moron comes last shout and trys to push in front.

Come on get a life.

I saw the que and went straight to cats bar, no one queing, straight in, grab a drink, out the other side! No problem!!!

Your right for the ones who turn up 5 mins before kick off an then moan but I was there at quarter to and still missed first 10 minutes or so. If the club had been organised enough and opened even 2 more turnstiles then the problem wouldn't have arisen.



You can't seriously expect people to all be in their places stood waitin for kick off in the cold for half an hour for a friendly!



Still no point moaning about it now as long as it doesn't happen in the future - its hardly expensive to open a couple of gates for an hour.

I'm sick of people like you assuming you know the full story. This was nothing to do with getting there early, it was a shambles plain and simple.



Personally I wasn't going to make a fuss as no one is perfect, but I should have known one of these ill informed silly posts would have appeared.

We got to the ground a 14.35 thats 25 mins before kick off and it took 15 mins to get in the mate who missed the first 10 mins said there was a lot of fans still waiting behind him.Yes there are the ones who turn up with 5 mins to go but when you turn up 25 mins before and it takes 15 to get in how early does one have to get there.

Got there at around 2.30, had about 4 or 5 people in front of us, and seemed to get in fine. I'd suggest the change in kick off time probably didn't help the situation and i'd guess there was a surge of people getting to BV at around 2.40. Friendlies and Cup games are awfully hard to try and budget for and i'd guess they didn't expect as many to attend as did, i know i didn't.



That said, what contingency plan did we have? Might be an idea to have people multi trained and back up floats in case this situation arises in future. It's how you react in these times that often dictates people's opinions towards the club/organisation.

I got to ground at 2.35 had to stand in queue for "Adult/tickets/Cash whilst letting my lad go through the Concessions/Junior Cash/tickets why once again was I not allowed to pass through the turnstile with my son, I had to wait a further 10 mins in queue to get in, luckily I called a mate who was already in the ground to meet my lad at the other side. We are season ticket holders, hopefully this won't be repeated with season tickets as it was at the beginning of last season, I don't mind mistakes/mishaps as long as we learn by them, and I’m not to sure WTW do
