What happened to the staff needed on the turnstyles today, missed first 15 minutes queing to get in along with many others, not good enough, surely there must be people who can be allocated to open other gates when queue is down the ginnell and half way up the road ?

Don't think the people in charge of turnstiles understand the following of Fev and Wakey after being starved of rugby.we were in early to watch an excellent game between Westgate and Stanley.Can't understand why they underestimated the volume of supporters.

I wondered when someone was going to bring this up. Apparently Glover acknomwledged the issuie on twitter. Still not good, considering a few hundred fans missed the kick off (including me

On the plus side, it was an excellent turnout for a trial game.

Does anyone know the official attendance, somewhere around 4500 ??

The turnstile issue wasnt helped by not having a ticket only gate oh and then anyone with a ticket being refused through the concession gate in effect only 2 turnstiles working at capacity the other two not really employed poor show IMHO.

I found it funny walking past a Fev fan just after I entered the ground. He was cursing away calling the turnstile attendant all sorts of names because the attendant told him he wouldn't let him in because he was an adult. I suspect the upset Fev fan used the child/concessions entrance. It was signed outside so no excuses from me.

That was a big mess up not happy at all about getting in we are pro club...??

Unless he had an adult ticket and for some unknown reason other than the ticket saying adult I was refused entry through a gate saying ticket gate, why would an adult ticket or junior ticket make any difference, I've paid my dues I have a ticket and because it said adult I wasnt allowed through unless I queued up to hand said ticket to said steward in the turnstile next to his just because it was an adult one. I'm sure their wouldnt be any difference in attendance whether a ticket gate accepts adult and junior/concession tickets. Just a rant but it was a farce.

It was a classic example of underestimating how many would turn up. I thought these farcical incidents were a thing of the past. At least it's been acknowledged and shouldn't happen again.

This happened last year for the Cas friendly, too

Two turnstiles open and on doncaster rd,people queing from all sides.It was a embarassment as we are the SL club,as the other comment missed the start of the game.On the positve side i thought Wakefield looked a professional outfit on the pitch,Looking good for 2013.Featherstone played some good rugby,They will go well this year and should challenge Cas on sunday.

Well I thought it was going to be one of those days we got the 1.30 train from Outwood station instead of the 2.30 so we would be there in plenty of time.That went out of the window when we got to Sandal & Agbrigg station and we went to get off the train doors at the back didnt open so we had to see the guard and get off at Fitzzy and get the next train back.We then walked to the ground to find the only turstiles open were the ones on donny road with a long line of fans waiting to get in.We got in with 10 mins to go before kick off.

To a point we met a London fan who had been up to Middlesborough for the Watford game and had decided to take in our game and make a weekend of it.What he thought of the calamity I dont know but it cant have been a good impression now lets say that was a fan who had not been for a long time or one who was going for the first time due to the price of entry it would not have done the club any favours.Yes it was a friendly but a turnstile open near the west stand and one near the north stand would have helped things even just the one near the west stand would have helped.
