He's a much travelled Rugby administrator who's spent time at London Scholars and Hull FC to name but two.

Smith and flatman spend time working on a proposal but submit no plans. And then Smith leaves the club because he wasn't given what he wanted.if MC said give me a plan then why wouldn't Smith do that and then leave citing that. And why would he waste his time with flagman if it wasn't a genuine plan to take over.

I dismissed this posters suggestion from last Tuesday, but after reading that, there appears to be a lot of truth, & for that I apologise.





It’s all getting a little squalid listening to plans going on regarding the future ownership of the club, whilst the ones who actually give a toss are served up sub-standard performances for our delectation.



I’m sick of hearing the same old line “Yeah but, without Carter we’d have been doomed, he even put his house up as collateral”. Maybe he did, but it wasn’t to save the club, if it had gone bust (again) he would have lost a lot of cash. He knew how the club worked & how he could cut costs, which he did, then lo & behold the Sky monies increased.



The players may be on comparable wages to other clubs, but if Wakefield’s answer to Gideon is still in austerity mode, maybe their conditions of work don’t inspire giving that extra effort.

Why did MC ask BS if he had a business plan? If BS had wanted control has said, surely he was going to put up some cash? not so long ago I thought MC was looking to offload Wakey.Has this all now changed as things seem to be moving on the Stadium and also the adjoining land that is up for sale? This saga just gets stranger and stranger. Will there be a full and frank statement put out by the people involved to clear the air, Wakefield Trinity fans deserve a full explanation .
