| Its up to Walshaw but if his stamina improves I would give him a crack at centre. Just because he his big doesn't attomatically mean he should be in the forwards. Greg Inglis would have merged in with the forwards over here. Walshaw a big lad could do some damage at centre. Fair enough if his fitness is poor but thats upto Mr Walshaw. This is where Mr Agars coaching ability comes in apart from Annakin there hasn't really been a player that have pulled up any trees. Mr Kear would have made some of these young lads into a real force by now

You sure about that? Aside from that I agree but I have a horrible feeling his card has been marked and he will be Cowlinged.

| mr kear was left with a championsip winning academy side but didnt have a bloody clue what to with them, so he decided to sign players like howarth for example from other teams. tom harrington knocked callum watkins all over one night in leeds where is he. danny cowlings body shape never altered in years at the club. greyson with pace was allowed to leave and we perservered with the snail kears mate blaydire. wheres will colohran. then theres trouty who needs kicking up the and getting the best out of. ruined young slats, adam gledhill. walshaw had faults his reset speed was slow its still slow and if hes not fit dont pick him. luby is a great lad give him waht he needs hes all over the place and by reset speed i mean you could turn a boat round quicker. annakin was a hard lad why didnt he address his size and make him an hard case hooker. jk didnt give a toss about the young lads and started watching when we got on the roll of winning to take the glory. i know i was there.

What you say may be true but I don't see much difference with Agar either. For example, Lucas Walshaw looks the mirror image of Matt Ryan and that is based on watching Ryan on premier sports as well as his first two games here. Who do you think will get picked most often this year?

| This is or could be a very interesting thread , I suppose there will be opinions from those who actually see the Academy players play (although because the fixtures aren’t even on the clubs website , it’s difficult to know when) and those who don’t .I honestly believe Lubey is improving his leg speed and should be an asset to the club but unfortunately I will predict that no matter where/who  the the club is playing against Walshaw , Anakin, Wildie (who you were right about he is a hooker not an half/back) and hopefully Trout (after the way he laughed at Walshaws mistake on Thursday) WONT BE AT WAKEFIELD next season .

| From the limited amount I have seen of Walshaw he still looks too raw and cumbersome to play centre, in my opinion.

Kear in his final year could have gone from a good coach to a great coach, if he had used some of our homegrown products.
He had nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Maybe not finishing bottom was more important than development of our juniors in his eyes?

You're right other than Gledhill, you know there was more to that than just Kear - far more.
As for Cowling again you're right yet oddly Agar tried to sign Cowling when at Hull and rated hims (other than noting a lack of physique) yet oddly on getting him by default he never really gave him a chance - unlike Lyne. I don't normally join in this debate but it's beginning to stink.
Who's Luby?

| I agree with most posts on this thread khlav your right walshaw is heading for the exit door agar as made it obvious he doesn't know how to develop potential in a young player, sixtogo your right walshaw and Ryan are carbon copy one we've flown halfway around the world and I'm sure will be on twice the wage and the other we already had but our coach doesn't know what to do with or were to play him. ,and your right pockets he does look raw and cumbersome at times ,you say the few times you've seen him don't you think if he'd been given more chances instead of a few minutes in different positions his game would have improved my opinion of our coach is simple instead of trying to coach and develop young talent he would sooner take the easy route' of ready made overseas players who from what I've seen are second rate, Anderson looks steady away but the other two look pretty ordinary

its cringe worthy to think that at the time there was no threat of relegation, what a waste
