No doubt he'll have paid a second visit after the game because that second have performance was unacceptable

Is it a coincidence that we are six games played and the two we have won have been refereed by grade 1 officials that know the rules of the game. It also sounds like Childs had a stinker at Salford. The RFL need to get this sorted cos in the end the fans just won't turn up when they see which linesman is refereeing their game that week.

Whichever games Roby, Hicks or Childs referee I feel sorry for the teams involved.

Its a shame Ganson aint reffing anymore. He was the only ref that appeared not to be influenced in favour of the big teams. I am convinced that when they see Wakey winning against the big guns they think "they must be cheating" and accordingly begin to penalise us for laying on and offside - even though the big teams are doing exactly the same.

On reflection it looks as though Ganson has rollocked Robey for not penalising Wakefield more leading to a 10-4 score line in favour of Wakefeld.



Mr Robey promptly came out for the second half and gives Wakey a nothing penalty inside their own 20 however Wakey go off script and score anther try. Mr Robey then ensures Sts get all the ball and field position they need in order to take a winning lead.

Don't like to knock refs by and large but he was garbage Rileys on the floor after being flattened by Wilkin and play continues for an age.Lomax slips backwards and its deemed an head high and the game stops instantly.He gives a crossing against us and Saints do it three times within a short time and nothing.Lomax clearly knocks on early in the first half and play goes on.Amor clearly throws a punch that was with full intent and its on report.Had a neutral watching next to us and he said what an idiot of a ref.

His son plays in the Saints U16's so there is obviously no conflict of interest there

His son plays for blackbrook in st Helen's where Ganson also helps out coaching.
