I see no ticket offers for this game this year so can't see anything more than a 3k attendance?

Probably more like 2k. Trinity have a decent record against the Dragons (who are generally shocking away from home) so it's definitely a game they should be looking to win even with the absentees. The Wigan away fixture was just a game to get through without further injuries, all the home games are winnable.

Must win game no doubt about it. We follow it up with games against Leeds, Warrington, Wigan and Saints and i can't see many points there i'm afraid. So its throw everything into this one and hope that we have a couple of bodies back for it.

IF Catalans play anything like they played against the Whino's yesterday, then it won't be easy. They are good at throwing the ball around and backing-up, so our defence will have to be better than it has been so far this season.

They do throw it about but tend to without much structure, make a lot of errors and over play a lot. Their defence is also quite leaky. If fact they are similar in that regard to ourselves. They are there for the taking if we turn up and perform.

Can't see anything other than a straightforward win for Les Cats - they are dangerously unpredictable and end up in a lot of broken play situations; exactly what we don't want with such a leaky defence.



I predict that Henderson will old man the ref mercilessly, Pomeroy will have a field day down his side, and Escare will rip us to bits at least twice.

Unless we get some players back on board, this will be another reverse.

Thursday night, on Sky, zero opposition fans, the crowd numbers could be embarrassing, possibly 2-2500, not good when we are on TV.

Its not on Sky. Its the Hull Derby that's on Sky.

I agree re: attendance though, sub 3k possible and no promotions at all. Very surprising.

Although we've had some crowd disturbances vs Cas recently, the lack of a decent home fixture over Easter, in terms of revenue, will already be hitting us hard.

Cas had us opening day and have Leeds on Good Friday both at home, traditionally two of the best days for attendance. You could forgive the cynical amongst us for wondering whether the RFL have decided which club in the district they want in SL and it ain't us.

So you'd rather us play on the Friday with a 2 day turnaround than the squad have an extra days rest?

There really aren't many reasons for a poor attendance, lots of people have Friday off, kids aren't at school so that's no excuse, the old chestnut, "it's a bank holiday so we do family things" can't be used, we're not on TV, can't see why it should be much less than the Saints game, but it is Wakey and we're a fickle bunch.
